I just wrapped up two big photography workshops, and am gearing to head out into the field again shortly. The first workshop was an amazing collaboration with Tony Baldasaro on beautiful Cape Cod. More to come about that experience as we finalize plans for next year’s workshop.
Next I co-led a Best of Maine workshop with my friend J.K. Putnam Photography. The photos below are from the last leg of that trip. I found that my camera was turning to different subject matter and somewhat “quieter” light during the couple of days we were in Acadia. We had a great group of students, and, as always, they inspired me with their images seen during our image reviews.
I also have of course been inspired by John, whose visions of Acadia, his home base, have mesmerized me for almost a decade now. I’m grateful to him for partnering with me on this workshop and for our time together.
That’s it for now. I can’t wait to share more images from the past month with you! I have so many!
Loved your photographs Ben. Thank you! . Seeing such colour & beauty in your photographs makes me want to jump on a plane & come over (from Australia.) one small hindrance, I fear my phone being taken from me @ the airport by the Trumpian Security thugs !!! Ie not allowing me into the US🤣🤣🤣🤣 (hope I haven’t offended you BTW- not intended at all.) Rhonda (Munro)

Thank you for the stellar photos, Benjamin! So enticing. They made me feel like heading out into the country.
